Testing phones with Arduino

Previously, we were only able to test the performance of server applications, now we are mastering mobile applications — this is a new trend. Among other things, we test power consumption of phones. We will tell you how we learned to collect power consumption metrics in a hardwired way. We built a small Arduino-based circuit that measures current and wrote a library to work with it. We published the library as open source. We will tell you how to prepare phones, build boxes for measuring and how to use the library.
