MockServer-driven development

Testing the frontend and backend simultaneously with automated tests can be quite problematic. There are situations when the frontend is fine, but UI tests are still crashing due to interruptions or delays on the backend, and this can severely slow down the testing process and, as a consequence, development.

The speaker will talk about a non-standard approach to automated testing development called MockServer-driven development (MSDD), where automated tests are developed through creating a dummy server, and test coverage directly depends on the server side coverage.
