Apache JMeter has been studied through and through, but when it comes to writing your load scripts on top of JMeter, there are dozens of ways to shoot yourself in the foot. And the surest way to notice this is to thoroughly measure what you are doing. Let's talk about working with memory in Java, about multithreading and thread pools, and even about such a trivial thing as parsing JSON.
