Testing of Software and Hardware Solutions Within SSDL

Talk about best practices of testing smart card devices on the example of USB tokens. The purpose of the talk is to review the peculiarities of USB-tokens testing, namely, complex testing of the hardware component of the medium, firmware and application programs for managing the medium. It will also consider testing methods using the following devices: pyrometer and thermal imager, USB-tester and a specialized network relay module when examining such product performance characteristics as carrier operating temperature, current consumption, microSD-card speed in the carrier and carrier behavior under load.
