Aleksandr Petrov

Aleksandr has more than 15 years of experience in software quality assurance. During this time, he was a manual tester of web and mobile applications, wrote autotests for API and Android, managed teams, and built testing processes in companies such as Yandex Mail.ru Group, VK, Citymobil, SberZvuk.

He taught the course "Testing mobile applications" at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, MIPT, and MEPhI.

Now he is involved in process and team management in the testing field.

Alexander participates in the ASK EXPERT activity in the offline part of the conference.

He will be advising on the following topics:

• Building testing teams in corporations.
• Building automation on a project where it did not exist before.
• Retraining QA teams from manual writers to automators (script writers on a ready-made framework, not to be confused with SDET).
• Testing mobile applications.
