PWA and Test Automation

I'll talk about PWA (what it is, how it's technically arranged), and how such applications work with various system APIs on phones.

The main part of my speech will be about the nuances of PWA test automation. How to cover with autotests cases with camera, pushes, contacts and authentication and how Playwright can be useful to us. We'll also see where Playwright is powerless today, and what to do in such a case.

We'll talk about file manifest.json — what for it is, and also about difference between PWA and hybrid apps with native bridge. A small but ambitious project on GitHub — Niffler — will help us with it.
