Theory and Practice of Load Testing

Most of the information systems that we have to test and benchmark can be attributed to the class of mass service systems. I will start my talk with the "spherical" properties of systems under load, which the theory of mass service systems gives us. I will then move on to more applied concepts such as the open/closed load model and then to practical tips for load testing.
