Gamification in an IT Team. From an Idea to Your Own Microservices

Working faster and more is what is expected of us constantly and on every project. Metrics are calculated, performance assessments are conducted and KPIs are introduced. HR strives to work with motivation in the form of social packages and perks. All these methods have long been known and it is difficult to surprise with something new. With such a background, we approached our idea to solve the problem in a non-trivial way and without large expenses.

I will tell you how we went from selling the idea to top managers to launching our gamification platform. What the idea was based on, which features work and do not, and what the ideal gamification platform looks like.
