Transferring Tests from Selenium to Playwright

So, you've been writing in Selenium for a long time, and everything is fine and dandy. All the crutches are in place, the lumps are taken, you “firmly and clearly” and with confidence in the future run tests every day. But young people come and say that Selenium is dying, and we should write in the fashionable and youthful Playwright.

What to do with Legacy code in Selenium? There are two options:

1. Write only new tests in Playwright.

2. Try Playwright in action and, if you like it, transfer all tests to it.

In the talk, I will take the second route and show how we quickly and painlessly transferred a thousand tests to Playwright.
