Linguist, expert in linguistics, Russian language, Russian culture and education. Author of popular books on science, education and Russian language. Active participant of public discussions on radio and television.

Professor, Doctor of Philology, Head of the Laboratory of Linguistic Conflictology and Modern Communicative Practices at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Head of the Laboratory of Sociolinguistics at the Russian State University of Humanities. Have worked as a visiting researcher and professor at universities in France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Estonia, Finland, USA and China.

Author of scientific monographs, textbooks, articles on semantics, pragmatics, semiotics, culturology, Russistics, as well as popular science books and books for children. Among them:
